Hellraiser has always been one of my favorite horror movies. They started not being as cool by the fourth or fifth one, and then I just stopped watching. The antagonists of the series are the Cenobites, and the main Cenobite is a character named Pinhead. For no other reason than I thought it would be an interesting project, I started combining the characters from Hellraiser, with the Peanut characters. The first is obviously the combination of Pinhead and Charlie Brown. The illustration started as a sketch scanned and was then placed into Illustrator. From there, I used a Wacom tablet and started on the black lines. I have a series of three brushes I created for drawing in Illustrator that help me achieve nice variations in the line width.
